The Atmospheric and Oceanic Sciences Department at CU Boulder invites applications for an Undergraduate Program Professional! This position supports the department’s undergraduate academic program by coordinating daily operations and providing guidance to students, faculty, and staff. This position applies knowledge of academic administration and university systems to manage program logistics, assist with undergraduate advising processes, and ensure curriculum and policy requirements are met. The role regularly solves moderately complex program and student issues, determining appropriate actions within established guidelines and referring unique cases for further review when needed.
In addition, this position collaborates with faculty and departmental staff to organize activities and events, support applied learning or research opportunities, and contribute to efforts that enhance student engagement and retention.
The Undergraduate Program Professional may provide direction to student employees or staff assisting with program tasks, ensuring consistency and accuracy in undergraduate program support.
