Job Description
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Avionics Technician at a leading provider of comprehensive and customer-focused solutions for business aviation. This position is based in Moline, IL. The role is vital in ensuring the safe, efficient, and high-quality troubleshooting and repair of avionics and electrical equipment, contributing to total customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities

Effectively troubleshoot and repair all avionics and electrical systems on aircraft.

Demonstrate a strong willingness to learn new electrical and avionics systems.

Communicate progress regularly with the Department Manager and other relevant personnel.

Ensure all work performed is inspected by an authorized repair station inspector.

Complete all paperwork daily in a concise and legible manner.

Report any problems or repairs that cannot be completed within a reasonable period to the Department Manager.

Identify and report any discrepancies related to company tooling or equipment.

Understand and follow the company work order and parts requisition process.

Maintain a clean, neat, and efficient work area.

Repair and calibrate shop equipment as assigned.

Inspect avionics repairs and modifications as necessary.

Assist in training Avionics Repair Technician level 1 personnel.

Perform other duties as assigned.
Essential Skills
-
2-5 years of avionic experience.
-
Experience with aircraft electrical systems.
-
Corporate and Garmin experience.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
-
FCC Licensing is a nice to have.
-
Bench repair capabilities are a plus.
Work Environment
The position is based in a hangar, with most work performed inside the aircraft. The environment is fairly clean, temperature-controlled, and involves working with a small team. The role offers flexibility with 1st and 2nd shift openings from 7:00 am to 3:30 pm or 3:00 pm to 11:30 pm.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $60000.00 - $100000.00/yr.
