Overview
You will execute the preparation of all ingredients so that your team can deliver iconic and craft culinary experiences to our guests. In this role, you will follow recipes and uphold the quality of products, while fostering a clean and safe environment.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Cleaning up the kitchen space after cooking each meal and ensuring the prep area and kitchen is cleaned and sanitized at the end of the shift
- Properly storing food items at appropriate temperatures
- Communicating to OM and Owner when items and ingredients are low and needed
- Rotating stock items as per established procedures
- Follow all instructions and guidelines for safe usage of kitchen equipment and cleaning compounds. Report equipment problems and maintenance issues to leadership immediately.
- Always maintain strong cleanliness and hygiene
- Operate with consistency and precision to ensure smooth execution of out menu items
- Cross-training and working in multiple kitchen areas (prep, cleaning, cooking, expo, etc)
- Prepare food items in a sanitary, clean, and timely manner
- Clean with a ‘clean as you go’ method to maintain clean and sanitary work stations
Qualifications and Requirements
- Must have or be able to obtain valid local and/or state Food Handler permits.
- 1-3+ Years in culinary or hospitality experience
Physical Requirements
· Able to lift a minimum of 25 lbs
· Be able to walk and stand for prolonged periods of time; frequent bending, reaching, and stretching; repetitive manual tasks
· Repetitive bending, twisting, squatting, and reaching
Occasionally access high storage shelving with the use of a step ladder
Pay: From $18.50 per hour
