Your Education:
A High school diploma or equivalent. A valid driver’s license approved for airline travel and/or a valid passport is ideal, but not mandatory.
Degree in inventory management or accounting helpful but not required.
Your Experience:
Must be customer service-oriented.
Must have knowledge of accounting processes.
Must have good working knowledge of computers.
Able to work with numbers and calculations.

We’re looking for team players who are self-motivated and able to perform in a fast paced environment where working under specific deadlines and time constraints will be common. Must be well organized, have a high attention to detail, strong written/verbal/analytical and interpersonal skills and the capability to work with minimal supervision.
Your Sense of Responsibility:
Required to work in a team environment and be a self-starter.
Follow West Star repair station manual guidelines to assure traceable and certified products are bought and sold.
Assist in parts inventory management.
Able to initiate purchase order procedures.
Required to follow all processes and procedures in a timely manner.
Calculate freight charges to inside and outside customers.
Responsible for handling fragile, expensive aircraft components.
Assist in receiving and shipping of all materials.

Physical Requirements
Lifts 50 lbs.
Routine walking, bending and use of stairs.
Sit at a desk and/or computer for extended intervals.
Mental Requirements
Work with others in a professional manner.
Prioritize workload.
Work with new or upgraded computer systems.
Supervision
Work under supervision of the Materials Manager.
May be directed to supervise other purchasers on specific projects.
Work with minimal supervision.
Working Conditions
This is a full-time position working in an office environment.
Occasional work outside in all types of weather on large projects.
Will participate in on-call schedule.
Equipment Used
Mainframe database, PC Computer, telephone, FAX and calculator.
Forklift and miscellaneous power/hand tools.
Compensation & Benefit Information
The following information is disclosed according to state specific requirements. If the position applied to is not in a state with these requirements, the following information may not apply. The hourly rate for this position generally ranges between $22 - $30. Actual hourly rate will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to location, experience and performance. Additional compensation in the form of a shift differential will be provided if the employee is assigned to an alternate shift. The range listed is just one component of the total compensation package. Other forms of compensation include a semi-annual discretionary bonus, 401(k) company match and employer contribution to a Health Savings Account (HSA).
