Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly in both languages, creating a welcoming atmosphere that encourages engagement
- Assist customers with product selection, answering questions about features, benefits, and pricing
- Process cash transactions accurately, including cash handling, cash drawer balancing, and processing cash payments using retail software
- Maintain knowledge of current promotions, sales events, and store policies to inform customers effectively
- Support retail sales initiatives by upselling products and promoting retail lending options when applicable
- Handle data entry tasks related to sales transactions, customer information updates, and inventory management
- Contribute to a clean, organized store environment by restocking shelves and ensuring displays are attractive and accessible
Experience
- Previous retail sales experience preferred, especially within retail stores or financial services environments
- Familiarity with banking or financial services enhances ability to explain retail lending or loan-related products
- Experience handling cash registers, cashiering duties, or cash management systems is highly desirable
- Strong math skills for retail math calculations, basic accounting tasks, and processing cash transactions accurately
- Proven customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively in two languages
- Knowledge of retail software systems and data entry procedures to streamline sales processes
- Ability to perform basic math operations confidently and efficiently during daily tasks
