Responsibilities
- Fabricate, assemble, and install ductwork for HVAC systems
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and job specifications
- Fabricate sheet metal parts on-site or in the shop as needed for specific projects
- Use hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment safely and effectively during installation processes
- Measure, cut, shape, and assemble sheet metal materials to fit designated spaces
- Coordinate with project managers, contractors, and other trades to ensure timely completion of tasks
- Perform quality inspections to ensure installations meet safety standards and project requirements
Requirements
- 2-3 years of experience in construction site work. A focus on sheet metal installation or related trades such as HVAC or ductwork is a plus!
- Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, fabrication techniques, and heavy equipment operation preferred
- Knowledge of construction management principles and construction estimating is a plus
- Strong understanding of safety protocols on construction sites and ability to operate safely around heavy machinery
- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in fast-paced environments
- Relevant certifications or training in construction inspection or specific trade skills are desirable
- Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license
