We are seeking dependable, compassionate, and professional State Tested Nursing Assistants (STNAs/CNAs) who are passionate about supporting individuals with developmental disabilities and helping them live as independently as possible.
Position Summary
As an STNA/CNA with Majona Healthcare LLC, you will provide direct, person-centered care and assistance to individuals with developmental disabilities. Care will be provided according to each individual's needs, preferences, and Individual Service Plan. This position is ideal for caregivers who enjoy building meaningful relationships with clients and providing individualized support in a home and community-based setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist individuals with activities of daily living, including bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, and personal hygiene.
- Assist with mobility, positioning, transfers, and ambulation as appropriate.
- Support individuals with meal preparation and eating as needed.
- Provide companionship, supervision, and emotional support.
- Encourage independence and allow individuals to participate in their care to the greatest extent possible.
- Assist individuals with participating in community activities, appointments, and daily routines as assigned.
- Follow each individual's Individual Service Plan and established care instructions.
- Observe individuals for changes in condition, behavior, or functioning and promptly report concerns to the appropriate supervisor or nurse.
- Maintain a clean, safe, respectful, and supportive environment.
- Complete required documentation accurately and on time.
- Protect client privacy, dignity, rights, and confidentiality.
- Follow Majona Healthcare LLC policies and all applicable Ohio Department of Developmental Disabilities requirements.
- Follow required procedures for reporting incidents, suspected abuse, neglect, exploitation, or other health and safety concerns.
- Work collaboratively with nurses, supervisors, families, guardians, and other members of the individual's care team.
Qualifications
- Current Ohio State Tested Nursing Assistant certification, if required for the position.
- Previous experience supporting individuals with developmental disabilities is preferred but not required.
- Home care, direct support, or caregiving experience is preferred.
- Must be dependable, patient, compassionate, and respectful.
- Ability to follow an Individual Service Plan and written care instructions.
- Ability to communicate effectively with individuals, families, supervisors, and other members of the care team.
- Ability to complete required documentation accurately.
- Must meet applicable background check, training, and employment requirements.
- Current cardiopulmonary resuscitation and first aid certification, or ability to obtain required certification.
- Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license when transportation is required as part of assigned duties.

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
