Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
Make a meaningful impact working with students near Denton, MD as an onsite or hybrid School Psychologist on a contract assignment running from late August 2026 through mid-June 2027. Collaborate closely with two elementary school communities, shaping student success through supportive guidance, assessment, and intervention.
You’ll work alongside dedicated educators and support staff, playing a key role in special education processes while supporting whole-school initiatives. A flexible schedule is possible, with the option of working three days onsite and two days remotely.
Key Qualifications:
- Active Maryland School Psychologist License (required)
- Strong background in facilitating and assisting with IEP meetings
- Proficiency in developing and monitoring Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs)
- Experience conducting executive function and cognitive assessments
- Familiarity with eligibility determinations, consultation, and providing input for 504 plans
- Well-versed in Multi-Tiered System of Supports (MTSS)
- Committed to serving elementary-age children
Primary Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams on IEP development
- Lead and assist with creating BIPs and conducting comprehensive psychological assessments
- Participate actively in eligibility and consultation processes, including support for 504 plans
- Engage in ongoing MTSS efforts across two elementary sites
- Offer guidance and consultative services to teachers, administration, and families to promote student well-being
