Duties
- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, friendly service throughout their visit
- Take customer orders accurately using POS systems such as Lavu
- Assist in food preparation and ensure food safety standards are maintained at all times
- Process cash and card transactions efficiently while managing cash register operations
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities
- Maintain cleanliness of workstations, dining areas, and kitchen equipment in compliance with sanitation standards
- Support food handling procedures, including bussing tables and ensuring a tidy dining environment
Requirements
- Previous experience in quick service or fast food restaurant environments is preferred
- Knowledge of POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently
- Basic math skills for processing cash transactions and retail math calculations
- Ability to operate kitchen equipment safely and effectively
- Food safety certification or willingness to obtain one prior to employment
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks during busy hours
- Food industry experience including serving, bussing, sanitation, and food handling is highly desirable
