Maintenance Technician – Fabricator/Welder

Position Summary
We are looking for a resourceful, mechanically inclined Maintenance Technician—someone who can troubleshoot problems, work with their hands, and find practical solutions.
Working under the Maintenance Supervisor, this position will maintain and repair production equipment, welding equipment, facility systems, and building components. Duties may include mechanical repairs, welding, plumbing, electrical work, basic carpentry, and heating and cooling systems.
Responsibilities
- Inspect equipment and machinery for needed repairs
- Troubleshoot mechanical and facility issues
- Complete repairs using equipment manuals and building blueprints
- Perform preventive and routine maintenance
- Repair and maintain welding and production equipment
- Complete basic plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and building repairs
- Maintain heating and cooling systems as assigned
- Order supplies and materials needed for repairs
- Keep maintenance and facility areas clean and organized
- Assist with general facility upkeep
- Complete additional maintenance duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Completion of a mechanical, electrical, or industrial-maintenance apprenticeship; or at least two years of production-maintenance experience
- Welding experience required
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting ability
- Experience working with production or welding equipment preferred
- Ability to read equipment manuals, blueprints, and technical instructions
- Dependable, safety-minded, and comfortable working independently
- Ability to handle multiple repair and maintenance priorities
Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour
