The Nuclear Quality Assurance Specialist supports the implementation and administration of nuclear quality assurance programs with a strong emphasis on training coordination, document control, and records management. This role ensures compliance with NQA-1 and ASME Boiler and Pressure Vessel Code (BPVC) requirements while maintaining accurate quality and training records in a highly regulated environment.
Required Qualifications
- Associate or Bachelor’s degree in technical, business, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in quality assurance, training coordination, or document control
- Working knowledge of NQA-1 quality assurance program requirements
- Familiarity with ASME BPVC standards
- Experience with document control systems and records management
- Strong organizational and administrative skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experience working in regulated environments (DOE, NRC, or similar)
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Learning Management Systems (Oracle etc.)
- Prior experience supporting nuclear, DOE, NRC or EPC projects
- Familiarity with NQA-1, 10 CFR 50 Appendix B or similar regulatory frameworks
- Background in records administration or QA program support
- Certification or coursework related to quality assurance or document control
