We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Metrc Specialist to join our team and ensure seamless compliance with state-mandated tracking systems for the regulated cannabis industry. In this role, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining accurate records within the Metrc (Marijuana Enforcement Tracking Reporting Compliance) system, facilitating efficient inventory tracking, and supporting operational compliance. Duties
- Manage and update all inventory data within the Metrc system, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Collaborate with internal teams to facilitate compliance with state tracking regulations and reporting requirements.
- Conduct regular audits of inventory records to identify discrepancies and implement corrective actions promptly.
- Provide training and support to staff on Metrc procedures, updates, and best practices.
- Maintain detailed documentation of all transactions, transfers, and adjustments within the Metrc platform.
- Liaise with regulatory agencies during audits or inspections to demonstrate compliance efforts.
- Assist in integrating Metrc data with other CRM or sales automation tools such as Salesforce to enhance operational efficiency.
Requirements
- Proven experience working with Metrc or similar cannabis tracking systems in a regulated environment.
- Strong understanding of cannabis industry regulations, inventory management, and compliance procedures.
- Technical proficiency with CRM software, especially Salesforce Cloud, and familiarity with sales automation technologies.
- Excellent communication skills in English, capable of clear client and team interactions via phone or digital channels.
- Experience in inside sales, telemarketing, or outbound calling environments with a focus on B2B sales or client communication.
- Demonstrated ability to adopt new sales technology platforms quickly and effectively support their implementation.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail for maintaining accurate records and conducting audits.
