The primary role of the Legal Specialist is supporting the Legal Department, including specifically the Chief Legal Officer/General Counsel and the Corporate Assistant General Counsel/VP. In addition, the Legal Specialist will work closely with various business partners and stakeholders to complete projects and align work across functions.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to satisfactorily perform each essential function listed below.
- Assist with legal entity management as requested.
- Interpret and respond to requests for information and documents from professional colleagues in Corporate and Field functions.
- Assemble information and data for preparation of documents, correspondence, and reports.
- Assist with charities and Sevita philanthropic efforts.
- Support legal projects as needed.
- Maintain confidentiality of all legal matters pertaining to the company.
- Perform other related duties and activities as required.

Education and Experience:
- Associate’s Degree or equivalent. Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Minimum of three years of related experience required

- Exceptional attention to detail
Other Requirements:
- Duly Appointed Notary Public is a plus
Physical Requirements:
- Sedentary work. Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects, including the human body. Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time. Jobs are sedentary if walking and standing are required only occasionally and all other sedentary criteria are met.
