Duties
- Prepare ingredients and assemble components for menu items according to established recipes and standards
- Cook and plate dishes efficiently while maintaining high quality and presentation standards
- Follow food safety protocols and proper food handling procedures at all times
- Assist with menu planning by preparing ingredients for upcoming service periods
- Support catering events and special functions with meal preparation and serving assistance
- Maintain cleanliness of workstations, utensils, and kitchen equipment throughout shifts
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely delivery of orders and excellent customer service
Experience
- Previous experience in a food service environment is highly desirable
- Proven kitchen experience in restaurants or food industry settings demonstrating strong food handling and cooking skills
- Knowledge of food safety regulations, sanitation practices, and proper knife skills
- Experience with meal preparation, menu planning, and food presentation techniques
- Familiarity with catering services, serving procedures, and food industry standards is a plus
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Strong teamwork skills combined with excellent communication abilities are essential for success in this role
Pay: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour
