Responsibilities
- Safely operate various types of vehicles including box trucks, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations
- Load and unload items using heavy lifting techniques, forklifts, pallet jacks, or manual methods as needed
- Drive route schedules efficiently, ensuring timely delivery and pickup of goods or furniture
- Assist customers with moving needs, providing excellent customer service throughout the process
- Inspect vehicles regularly for maintenance needs and report any issues promptly
- Follow proper procedures for securing loads to prevent damage during transit
- Maintain accurate delivery logs, route documentation, and inventory records
Skills
- Proven experience in delivery driving or courier services with a solid understanding of route driving principles
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally
- Warehouse experience is a plus, including familiarity with loading/unloading processes and equipment like forklifts or pallet jacks
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently in various environments
- Valid commercial driver’s license with manual transmission experience preferred
- Knowledge of safety protocols related to moving, driving large vehicles, and operating warehouse equipment
- Demonstrated reliability, punctuality, and a proactive approach to problem-solving

- Candidates must have or be willing to obtain a valid DOT Med Card within 30 days of hire

Pay: $30.00 - $35.00 per hour
