Duties
- Perform a variety of nail services such as manicures, pedicures, gel manicures, acrylic and nail extension applications with precision and care
- Apply color theory principles to recommend suitable shades and designs that complement each client’s style and skin tone
- Maintain strict salon safety protocols by adhering to sanitation and disinfection procedures for tools and workstations
- Communicate effectively with clients to understand their preferences, provide expert advice on nail care, and upsell retail products when appropriate
- Ensure a clean, organized workspace that complies with all health regulations and promotes client safety
- Stay updated on the latest trends in nail art, techniques, and industry standards through ongoing education
- Assist with retail sales of nail products and beauty accessories to enhance client satisfaction and salon revenue
Requirements
- Proven experience working as a Nail Technician or in the beauty industry with a strong portfolio of nail art and extension work
- Knowledge of salon safety protocols, sanitation standards, disinfection procedures, and dermabrasion techniques
- Skilled in applying various nail enhancements such as acrylics, gel nails, and nail extensions using proper application methods
- Familiarity with color theory for creating visually appealing designs tailored to individual clients
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and build rapport with diverse clients
- Certification in cosmetology or esthetician licensing as required by local regulations
- Ability to perform detailed work while maintaining a friendly attitude in a fast-paced environment
