The Arthur Daniel Agency is a leading provider of Community-Based Supports and Individual-Based Supports through the Division of Developmental Disabilities (DDD) in New Jersey. We are in need of an experienced, strong, male DSP for an individual in Berkeley Heights, NJ.
The DSP must have experience with behaviors or years of ABA. The DSP will be working with the individual in a safe environment in his home and keeping him engaged. He requires assistance with self-care tasks as well as constant supervision and redirections for safety and ongoing behaviors. There is a behavior support plan in place, and you will be working under a BCBA, as well as trained on behavioral strategies.
*DSP must have experience with seizures and with working with individuals with aggressive behaviors
DSP are needed: 20 to 30 hours a week. Evenings and weekends
(flexible with hours but must be able to work weekends)
Location: Berkeley Heights, NJ
Pay Rate: $38/hr
Requirements:
- 3+ years of recent care giving experience, such as a Direct Support Professional
- 3+ years or RBT or ABA experience
- CPR +First Aid Certified
- Valid Driver's License
- HS Diploma or higher
