Job Description
- Title: Cytotechnologist
- Location: 601 Duboce Ave N Tower ,San Francisco, CA 94117
- Duration: 13 weeks
- Experience: 2 year
- Certifications: -
- ASCP-Certification by the American Society for Clinical Pathology as a Cytologist (CT)
- CDPH-Licensure by the California Department of Public Health as a Cytotechnologist (CLM/CTT)
- Pay Rate (Hourly): $60 - $72
- Shift: Day 5x8-Hour (07:00 - 03:30)
Responsibilities:
- Integrates laboratory knowledge, theory, and practice to perform procedures accurately and deliver timely results.
- Maintains competency in all Cytology practices, performing pre-analytic, analytic, and post-analytic testing to support disease diagnosis and patient care.
- Screens up to 80 gynecologic (GYN) cytology specimens per day with accuracy and efficiency.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor's degree from a regionally accredited college/university
- ASCP-Certification by the American Society for Clinical Pathology as a Cytologist (CT)
- CDPH-Licensure by the California Department of Public Health as a Cytotechnologist (CLM/CTT)
- 2 years recent relevant experience
