The Sales Specialist supports the Sales & Marketing and Operations teams in achieving occupancy, revenue, and customer experience goals across assigned communities.
This role assists with sales strategy execution, lead management, tours, follow-up, conversion improvement, and community marketing initiatives while ensuring communities maintain strong presentation standards and exceptional customer service.
The Sales Specialist also provides training, support, and guidance to community teams to help strengthen sales performance and occupancy growth.
The ideal candidate is organized, self-motivated, professional, and passionate about helping seniors and families navigate the senior living journey.
Support occupancy and revenue goals across assigned communities
Assist with inquiry management, tours, and follow-up processes
Help improve conversion ratios including:
Inquiry-to-tour
Tour-to-deposit
Deposit-to-move-in
Utilize relationship-based selling techniques to support occupancy growth
Ensure communities remain “tour ready” at all times
Assist Executive Directors and Sales & Marketing teams with implementation of marketing plans
Support community outreach and networking initiatives
Participate in lead generation activities and community events
Help maintain accurate sales tracking and CRM documentation
Provide sales support, coaching, and guidance to various communities as needed
Assist with onboarding and training related to sales systems and customer experience
Support best practices related to lead management and occupancy development
Collaborate with operations and leadership teams to support community success
Build positive relationships with prospective residents, families, and referral partners
Help guide families through the senior living decision-making process
Ensure exceptional hospitality and communication throughout the sales journey
Support smooth transitions from inquiry through move-in
Previous senior living, healthcare, hospitality, leasing, or sales experience preferred
Assisted living or memory care experience strongly preferred
Strong communication and relationship-building skills
Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
Self-motivated and goal-oriented mindset
Ability to work independently and collaboratively
Compassionate and customer-focused attitude
CRM or lead management system experience preferred
Willingness to travel and support multiple communities as needed
