Vegas Video is looking for a friendly, dependable team member to help customers, manage checkout, restock shelves, and keep the store running smoothly.
Duties
- Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system efficiently to process transactions accurately and swiftly
- Greet customers warmly, answer questions, and provide exceptional customer service throughout their shopping journey
- Manage cash handling duties with precision, including giving correct change and balancing registers at shift end
- Maintain appearance of store and restrooms
- Maintain merchandising standards by stocking shelves, organizing displays, and ensuring products are well-presented
- Support inventory management through stocking and merchandising tasks, ensuring products are available and accessible
- Demonstrate excellent phone etiquette when answering inquiries or assisting customers remotely
Qualifications
- Previous cashiering experience in a retail or grocery store environment is preferred
- Strong communication skills in English; bilingual abilities are a plus for serving diverse customers
- Familiarity with POS systems and basic retail math to handle transactions confidently
- Proven customer service skills with a friendly, professional demeanor
- Ability to perform basic math calculations quickly and accurately during sales transactions
