We are seeking a dynamic and personable Host/Runner/Busser to join our vibrant hospitality team! Duties
- Greet guests warmly with genuine enthusiasm and assist with seating arrangements to optimize flow and comfort
- Manage reservation lists and waitlists efficiently using POS (Point of Sale) systems such as Clover or Linga
- Answer phone inquiries promptly, providing accurate information about reservations, wait times, and menu offerings with professional phone etiquette
- Coordinate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow and timely seating
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host stand and waiting area to uphold high standards of food safety and guest experience
- Assist in managing guest relations by addressing questions, concerns, or special requests courteously and promptly
- Support overall restaurant operations by communicating effectively with team members and ensuring guest satisfaction at all times
Requirements
- Previous Host/ Runner/ Busser experience in a food service or restaurant setting preferred
- Bilingual (Spanish and English) is preferred.
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly, positive attitude
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Clover or Linga is a plus
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper sanitation procedures
- Ability to handle high-pressure situations with professionalism and organizational skills
- Experience in hotel or hospitality environments is advantageous but not required
- Demonstrated phone etiquette and guest relations abilities
- Basic understanding of restaurant operations, serving procedures, and guest services
