Spectrix Analytical Services is seeking a full-time permanent Bioanalytical Scientist to join the Immunogenicity Sciences group at our client site in Andover, MA. This dynamic, industry-leading team is dedicated to identifying and mitigating risks associated with unwanted clinical immunogenicity. Through a suite of innovative cell-based and ligand-binding assays, the group provides data-driven insights that influence molecular design—making therapies safer and more effective for patients. In this role, you’ll support the development and execution of ligand-binding assays (primarily ELISA based platforms) to evaluate pharmacokinetic (PK), pharmacodynamic (PD), and immunogenicity. You’ll work in a fast-paced environment, analyzing and interpreting data to guide decision-making and project advancement. While experience with MSD and Gyrolab platforms is a plus, we’re primarily looking for candidates with strong ELISA expertise and at least one year of laboratory experience outside of academia.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Design and execute ligand-binding assays (ELISAs, MSD, Gyrolab) to support PK/PD and immunogenicity evaluations
- Modify experimental conditions, troubleshoot, and validate assays for biotherapeutic programs
- Analyze and interpret data to support decision-making and project advancement
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality concentration and immunogenicity data
- Document experimental results using electronic lab notebooks and study reports
- Communicate clearly and professionally, both orally and in writing.
- Available to work on-site 40 hours/week, Monday–Friday, covering core business hours (9:00 AM–3:00 PM).
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- BSc with 2+ years of relevant industry lab experience, or MSc with 1+ year (non-academic) with a focus on protein ligand-binding assay development (This is a NON-PhD position)
- Strong hands-on experience with ELISA; MSD and Gyrolab experience is a bonus but not essential
- Ability to author technical documents and summarize analytical data
- Excellent organizational, time management, and communication skills.
