University Home Care Inc is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Personal Care Assistant to provide high-quality care and support to our clients in Eastpointe, MI. This role involves assisting clients with daily living activities to ensure their comfort, safety, and well-being.
- Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
- Help with mobility and transfer activities safely
- Support clients with meal preparation and feeding as needed
- Perform light housekeeping duties to maintain a clean and safe environment
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients
- Observe and report any changes in clients’ conditions or needs to supervisors
- Follow care plans and maintain accurate documentation
- Previous experience in personal care or home health preferred but not required
- Ability to communicate effectively and show empathy
- Reliable transportation to and from Eastpointe, MI work location
- Ability to pass background checks and comply with regulatory requirements
- Competitive hourly wage of $14.00 - $19.00
