Full-Time Barista/Retail Associate located in the café of a Home Decor Shop
A.MANO Brooklyn is seeking a Full-time barista with a ton of energy and a great sense of humor to staff our Prospect Heights cafe. We are looking to hire immediately for the 2026 Holiday season. 4 years of Retail experience is mandatory.
RESPONSIBILITIES
As a Full Time Associate you will report directly to the Store Manager and Food/Beverage Manager andwill be responsible for café and retail related operations. This includes but is not limited to:
- Opening and closing the café according to defined procedures.
- Preparing customer drinks to order
- Customer Relationship Management, Sales and Transactions
- Inventory Management and Stockroom Assistance
- You may occasionally be asked to step in to assist with retail sales during holiday rushes and events. Retail shifts on the weekends.
- Assist with Events
REQUIREMENTS
- 4+ years Customer Service & Boutique Sales Associate Experience
- 4+ years Barista experience in a busy café environment
- Experience with POS systems responsible for performing transactions
- Must enjoy working with and meeting customers and team members.
- Willing to show up in a neat and professional manner in accordance with the store management’s dress code.
- NYC Certification in Food Protection
- Positive Attitude!
