Botanical aid for the frontlines of community health.
The Apothecary Project is a community care initiative based in Southern Appalachia with national reach. We are medicine-makers and regenerative land stewards who cultivate, formulate, and distribute herbal remedies in collaboration with a network of aligned organizations.
Through mutual aid and community partnerships, the Apothecary Project provides accessible botanical care to frontline workers, families, and communities with limited access to wellness resources. As the two-year anniversary of Hurricane Helene approaches, we are strong enough to begin extending that care to other communities facing significant hardship and disaster. We send our handcrafted herbal remedies and tangible care to people who are giving a lot and those who have lost a lot.
The Apothecary Project is a model of community resilience. By connecting land, traditional knowledge, local makers, philanthropy, and grassroots networks, the project transforms the abundance of the living Earth into accessible care for people across the nation.
The Campaign Manager will help expand this model from a deeply local practice into a sustainable funding and distribution network. You will help broaden access to herbal care while strengthening the relationships, partnerships, and ecological systems that make the work possible.
