The office of Columbus City Attorney Zach Klein is seeking qualified applicants for the position of fulltime litigation paralegal with two or more years of experience to support attorneys in the Litigation, General Counsel, Solicitor General and Labor & Employment sections in the Civil Division. The ideal candidate will be organized, self-driven, and possess the ability to prioritize multiple projects and maintain confidentiality.
The anticipated salary for this position is between $54,766 to $62,000 depending on experience.

A person who has been selected by an appointing authority in accordance with the Columbus City Charter, Section 148(1) is said to have received an unclassified appointment. Those individuals receiving unclassified appointments serve at the pleasure of their appointing authority and may be terminated from employment at any time. Located at 77 N. Front, the Civil Division is responsible to defend the city and its employees in contract disputes, claims for personal injury or property damage, constitutional violations, wrongful death, tax disputes, and claims requesting money damages.
