The Integrated Stockpile Evaluation (ISE) Planning, Information and Data Systems team is seeking an R&D Computer Engineer to lead a cross-functional team responsible for managing and advancing our IT infrastructure and systems administration, alongside cybersecurity initiatives. As part of a mission-driven team dedicated to ensuring the safety, reliability, and effectiveness of the U.S. nuclear weapons stockpile, you will play a critical role in overseeing and enhancing our infrastructure, including server administration, network management, and application development.
On any given day, you may be called on to:

Lead strategic initiatives focused on IT infrastructure management, including server and network administration across Windows and Linux environments, ensuring robust, secure, and efficient systems.

Manage and mentor a diverse team of IT, cyber, and computer engineering professionals, fostering collaboration across disciplines.

Oversee the development and deployment of applications and tools that support infrastructure and operational needs.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for innovation and improvement in infrastructure and security.

Provide expert guidance on infrastructure utilization and systems administration best practices.

Lead key projects, including cyber-related initiatives, while partnering with the ISSO who manages security plan development and compliance.
Due to the nature of the work, the selected applicant must be able to work onsite.
