Role Overview
The Director - Financials Systems lead and optimize financial systems, month-end close, general ledger operations, reporting, and internal controls by partnering across Finance, IT, and operational teams to ensure data accuracy, compliance, process efficiency, automation, and informed decision-making throughout the organization.
Job Responsibilities

- Partner with departments across the organization to understand reporting needs, develop and refine financial reports, and ensure system outputs support business operations. Act as a bridge between Finance, IT, and operational teams to improve data visibility, strengthen reporting quality, and support informed decision-making.
- Drive operational excellence by identifying and monitoring key performance metrics, implementing new technologies and automation, and leading financial system upgrades or transitions. Partner with IT, Mission Support, People & Culture, and other teams to streamline workflows, enhance data integrity, and improve the overall efficiency and transparency of financial operations

Education and Experience Requirements:
Minimum
- Bachelor's Degree (BA/BS) in a related field and 5 years of relevant experience
- Experience with financial systems and reporting
Preferred
- Master's degree (MA/MS) in a related field and 5 years of relevant experience
- Experience with project management
Certifications and Licensure
- Minimum: CPA Candidate
- Preferred: CPA or CMA
Compensation: $95,000 - $105,000 / year
