BARKLEY CONSTRUCTION, LLC.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- MUST BE ABLE TO DRIVE A MANUAL TRANSMISSION
- Safely operate a dump truck with materials to and from job sites.
- Load and unload materials using heavy equipment such as forklifts or loaders and skid steers.
- Follow designated routes and schedules for efficient delivery.
- Ensure proper securing and covering of loads to prevent spills or accidents.
- Perform routine maintenance and inspections on the truck to ensure its safe operation.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while operating the vehicle.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage and fuel usage.
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
- Valid CDL license with a clean driving record.
- Previous experience as a dump truck driver or similar role preferred.
- Ability to operate heavy equipment such as forklifts or loaders.
- Knowledge of local traffic laws and regulations.
- Strong attention to detail and safety-conscious mindset.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Perform under minimum supervision.
- Communicate effectively with co-workers, supervisors and the public.
WORK REQUIREMENTS:
- Pass pre-employment drug screen and criminal background check.
- Be able to provide valid documentation for I9 documents (DL, Social Security, Birth Certificate)
- Report to work at the designated start time.
- Willing to work outdoors in extreme temperatures, both hot and cold.
- Wear personal protective equipment (PPE) in designated operations and production areas as stated by OSHA.
- Must have a valid driver's license.
- Properly follow all company safety policies and OSHA.
COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS:
This is a \"Full Time\" hourly position paying the following range $20-23. These rates are dependent upon skill set and experience.
