UT Health East Texas is comprised of 10 hospitals, more than 90 clinics, nearly 7,500 employees and over 1,000 licensed inpatient beds. We provide healthcare services through our hospitals, clinics, Level 1 trauma facility, air emergency fleet and EMS service.
Responsibilities:
- Makes and schedules appointment for procedures and surgeries for patients in an efficient and

timely manner.
- Verifies and pre-certifies insurance coverage for surgical procedures. Coordinates
-
day surgeries within main surgery department.
- Maintain productivity logs for department director.
Qualifications:
Job Requirements:

High school diploma or GED.

Computer experience (Excel/Word).
Preferred Job Requirements:

Two to Three years of work experience in a medical office.

Knowledge of medical terminology and surgical scheduling.
