Position Summary
The Business Office & Financial Aid Admin is an entry-level, paid OJT position designed to train the contractor in both financial aid administration and business office operations within a Title IV, NACCAS-accredited barber school. This role supports day-to-day administrative functions and learns regulatory compliance under supervision.
Although the role supports hybrid operational processes (digital systems, electronic records, virtual communications), the position is fully on-site and requires regular presence at the school.

Key ResponsibilitiesFinancial Aid (Training & Support Role)
- Assist with processing Title IV financial aid under supervision
- Learn ISIR review, verification tracking, awarding, and disbursement processes
- Maintain accurate student financial aid records and documentation
- Assist with Satisfactory Academic Progress (SAP) tracking
- Support Return of Title IV (R2T4) data gathering and calculations
- Provide basic financial aid information to students and staff
Business Office (Training & Support Role)
- Assist with posting tuition, fees, and payments to student accounts
- Help manage student billing, payment plans, and account records
- Support refund processing and cash management documentation
- Organize and maintain financial and student records
- Assist with internal reports and administrative tasks
Compliance & Accreditation Support
- Learn Title IV and NACCAS compliance requirements
- Assist with preparation for audits, program reviews, and accreditation visits
- Follow established policies, procedures, and record retention standards
Training & Supervision
- Paid on-the-job training provided
- Structured guidance and oversight from senior administrative staff
- Gradual increase in responsibility as skills and knowledge develop
QualificationsRequired
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn regulatory processes
- Basic computer skills and comfort working with digital systems
- Professional communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work on-site in Minnesota during scheduled hours
Preferred (Not Required)
- Interest in education administration, compliance, or finance
- Experience in office administration or customer service
- Familiarity with postsecondary education or vocational schools
