Job Summary
Edge Landscaping is seeking an experienced Field Supervisor to manage residential and commercial landscape construction projects from beginning to end. This hands-on leadership role includes plan interpretation, task coordination, safety oversight, and quality assurance. The ideal candidate has strong installation knowledge, can operate heavy equipment, and motivates a crew to perform at high standards while maintaining professionalism and jobsite efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Fully interpret and implement grading, irrigation, and planting layouts from landscape blueprints
- Supervise and direct daily tasks of crew members to ensure safe and efficient execution of all work
- Enforce adherence to OSHA and industry safety standards on all job sites
- Ensure all work meets client expectations and company quality standards, preventing callbacks or warranty issues
- Maintain accurate records of purchases and submit receipts to management daily
- Monitor and maintain company equipment, trucks, and trailers in clean and safe operating condition
- Actively support training, productivity, and accountability among crew members
Required Qualifications
- 2–3 years of experience as a landscaping field supervisor
- Proven grading and irrigation experience
- Strong familiarity with Southeastern plant material and their seasonal performance
- Proficient in operating heavy equipment used in landscaping projects
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Bilingual in English and Spanish is a major plus
- Self-motivated and driven to succeed with minimal supervision
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Professionalism when interacting with clients, crew, and management
- Full-time availability with flexibility during peak seasons
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift, push, and carry 50+ lbs regularly
- Work outdoors in heat, cold, rain, and varying weather conditions
- Stand, walk, bend, kneel, or operate heavy equipment for long periods
Work Environment
- Field-based position at residential and commercial job sites
- Regular exposure to noise, dust, heavy equipment, and weather elements
- Driving between job sites and loading/unloading materials

Pay: $50,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
