Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and organized Part-time Veterinary Receptionist/Client Service Representative to join our dedicated team. We have 2 Full-Time Veterinarians and a 7-member support staff. Our goals are quality patient care and client education in fast-paced Primary Care Practice for dogs and cats. Services provided include wellness services, acute illness care, chronic conditions management, basic diagnostic testing, dental cleaning and routine surgery. As a Primary Care Facility, currently there are not overnight or Sunday shifts.
The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for pet owners, providing exceptional customer service while managing the administrative tasks of a busy veterinary practice. This role requires a love for client interaction, strong communication skills, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities
- Greet clients and their pets warmly upon arrival and provide assistance as needed.
- Schedule appointments and manage the clinic's schedule efficiently.
- Answer phone calls and respond to inquiries regarding services, procedures, and pet care.
- Maintain accurate patient records, including client communications, medical history and treatment plans.
- Process payments and handle medical collections in accordance with practice policies.
- Ensure the reception area is clean, organized, and welcoming for clients and their pets.
- Stay informed about veterinary terminology and procedures to communicate effectively with clients.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a veterinary or animal care setting is preferred.
- Knowledge of veterinary terminology and medical collection processes is advantageous.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate compassionately with pet owners.
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in managing records and appointments.
- Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining a positive attitude.
- Proficiency in using office software and veterinary management systems is desirable.
