Key Skills, Qualifications and Requirements:
· Associates’ Degree, preferably in drafting, engineering technology or related field.
· 3+ years’ experience in a similar draftsperson role or in an important construction company is key.
· Possess strong presentation, written and oral reporting skills .
· Demonstrable track record in accurately and effectively creating technical drawings and plans in a fast-paced, demanding environment with aggressive goals.
· Highly organized, detail and process oriented and efficient with the inherent ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
· Ability to work proactively, and not reactively, on your own initiative.
· Proficiency in computer-aided design (CAD) software such as AutoCAD, Revit or SolidWorks.
· Experience with building information modelling (BIM) software.
· Strong understanding of architectural and engineering principles.
· Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints and engineering / architectural drawings.
· Knowledge of relevant building codes and industry standards.
· Strong mathematical and technical skills.
Duties will include:
· Prepare detailed drawings of architectural and engineering designs from sketches and specifications.
· Collaborate with architects, engineers, City staff, other professionals and consultants to incorporate design requirements into drawings.
· Review and revise drawings to meet project specifications and standards.
· Use computer-aided design (CAD) software to create and modify drawings. The use of Revit is preferable.
· Ensure drawings are accurate, detailed and contain all necessary information for construction and manufacturing.
· Maintain up-to-date knowledge of building codes, industry standards and materials.
· Provide technical support and troubleshooting during the construction or manufacturing process.
· Manage documentation and filing systems for drawings and project records.
· Conduct site visits to gather data and verify design specifications are being met.
· Communicate effectively with project managers, clients, and other stakeholders.
Requirements:
· 1+ years of Real Estate experience
Pay: $30.00 - $35.00 per hour
