Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated, compassionate, and flexible Pediatric Speech Therapist (Clinical Fellows welcome to apply) to join our clinic on a part-time basis. This is a W2 position, ideal for a therapist who enjoys working with children and can provide therapy services after school hours and evenings. You will be able to work with a caseload of children, with a flexible schedule anywhere from 2 to 5 days a week, with hours ranging from 4 to 40 per week. The work environment is supportive and independent, with access to a large supply of therapy materials to help make your sessions more effective and enjoyable for both you and the clients!
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide individualized speech therapy services to children with speech, language, and communication disorders
- Develop and implement treatment plans based on client needs and goals
- Assess and track progress, providing updates to parents/guardians as needed
- Maintain accurate documentation and record-keeping in line with clinic policies
- Ensure therapy sessions are engaging and motivating for children, incorporating fun and interactive activities
- Work with a flexible caseload and adjust hours as needed based on you or your client's availability
Requirements:
- Must have after school/evening appointment availability
- Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current and valid state licensure to practice as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Previous experience working with pediatric clients preferred but not required
- Ability to work after-school hours and provide 4-20+ hours per week
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Passion for helping children and making a positive impact on their communication development
