Road Service Tire Technician
Location: Worcester, MA
Pay: $20–$22/hour (based on experience)
Schedule: Full-Time | On-Call Rotation Required
Savvy Staffing is seeking a reliable, customer-focused Road Service Tire Technician to join our highly reputable client's team. If you enjoy working independently, solving problems, and helping customers get back on the road, this could be the perfect opportunity. No commercial tire experience? We're willing to train the right candidate!
What You'll Do
- Respond to emergency roadside service calls for commercial truck tire repairs and replacements.
- Mount, dismount, balance, repair, and replace truck tires at customer locations and in the shop.
- Operate hydraulic jacks, air tools, service trucks, and tire service equipment safely.
- Perform routine maintenance on service vehicles, tools, and equipment.
- Complete service paperwork accurately and communicate work performed.
- Provide outstanding customer service while maintaining a professional appearance.
- Participate in an on-call rotation for after-hours emergency service.
What We're Looking For
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn.
- Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Reliable, dependable, and safety-conscious.
- Previous automotive, tire, mechanical, construction, or equipment experience is helpful but not required—we will train.
Physical Requirements
- Frequently lift and move up to 100 lbs.
- Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
- Comfortable standing, bending, kneeling, and working with hand and power tools throughout the day.
Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour
