Position Summary
KIDE International (The States) LLC is seeking an experienced Traveling Senior Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE) Manager to support industrial, manufacturing, mission-critical/data center and MEP construction projects throughout the United States. This leadership position is responsible for developing project-specific HSE programs, leading project mobilization and safety kickoffs, mentoring project teams, conducting compliance and performance audits, and ensuring consistent implementation of the KIDE HSE Management System across multiple projects. This successful candidate will report to the Director of HSE. This position requires a long-term assignment that requires both in-state and out-of-state travel that may be up to 12 months.
Primary Responsibilities
- HSE Program Development: Develop Site-Specific Safety Plans (SSSPs), Project Safety Implementation Plans, JHAs, JSAs, AHAs, emergency response plans, and client-specific HSE procedures.
- Project Mobilization & Kickoffs: Lead safety kickoff meetings, contractor onboarding, orientation, mobilization reviews, and establish project safety goals and KPIs.
- Construction Safety Leadership: Conduct field observations, coach supervisors, verify high-risk work controls, administer permit-to-work systems, and exercise stop-work authority when necessary.
- Auditing & Compliance: Perform HSE audits, evaluate contractor performance, verify OSHA/client/KIDE compliance, and track corrective actions to closure.
- Incident Investigation: Lead investigations, perform root cause analysis (5 Whys), develop corrective actions, and communicate lessons learned.
- Training & Mentoring: Deliver orientations, toolbox talks, leadership coaching, and mentor project safety personnel.
- Executive Reporting: Prepare weekly/monthly reports and monitor KPIs including TRIR, DART, inspections, observations, corrective actions, and training compliance.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Safety, Environmental Science, Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred.
- 7-10 years of construction HSE experience with at least 10 years in a leadership role.
- Experience supporting industrial, manufacturing, mission-critical/data center, commercial[kc7] [TB8] , or large construction projects.
- Demonstrated experience developing HSE plans and leading project safety mobilization.
- Strong knowledge of OSHA and local regulatory standards, ANSI, and NFPA standards.
- Willingness to travel extensively throughout the United States.

Pay: $100,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
