Position Overview
We are seeking a reliable, professional Armed Security Guard to provide safety and protection for an industrial facility in Boulder Colorado. This role is a fixed day and swing shift position responsible for maintaining a secure environment, monitoring activity, and responding to incidents in accordance with agency and client standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain a visible security presence throughout the 6AM-2PM and 2PM-10PM Shift
- Conduct regular patrols of buildings, grounds, and access points
- Monitor cameras, alarms, and entry systems
- Document all activity, incidents, and observations in accordance with policy
- Respond to emergencies, disturbances, and safety concerns
- Enforce site rules, visitor procedures, and safety protocols
- Provide excellent customer service to staff and visitors
- Coordinate with supervisors and on‑call leadership as needed
Minimum Qualifications
- Must be able to work a fixed 6am-2pm or 2p-10p schedule
- Prior armed security, military, or law enforcement experience preferred
- Strong communication and situational awareness
- Ability to stand, walk, and patrol for extended periods
- Proficient in firearms including malfunctions
- Clean background and reliable transportation
- Valid Driver License
- Drug screening required
- Psychological assessment required
- Consistent attendance is critical to this positon and non-negotiable.

Pay: $25.00 - $27.00 per hour
