Job Summary

Responsibilities
- Assist with food preparation, including chopping, assembling, and plating dishes according to established standards
- Maintain cleanliness of kitchen stations, utensils, and equipment through regular cleaning and sanitizing
- Handle bussing duties by clearing tables promptly and resetting them for new guests
- Follow safe manual handling practices during heavy lifting and movement of kitchen supplies or equipment
- Adhere to food safety regulations and proper food handling procedures at all times
Requirements
- Previous experience in food service, restaurant, or hospitality environments preferred but not required
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling techniques
- Ability to perform manual tasks including heavy lifting and safe lifting practices
- Strong communication skills for effective teamwork and customer interaction
- Experience with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus
- Familiarity with kitchen equipment, cooking processes, and food preparation methods
- Excellent in-person customer service skills with a friendly, energetic attitude
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Prior experience with banquet service or hotel culinary operations is advantageous
