Duties
- Greet customers warmly and assist them in locating products or services that meet their needs
- Provide detailed information about products, including features, benefits, and pricing options
- Process cash transactions accurately using cash registers and POS systems, ensuring proper cash drawer handling and cash management
- Perform retail math calculations for pricing, discounts, and financial transactions with precision
- Maintain accurate data entry of sales records, customer information, and transaction details using financial software
- Support retail lending activities by explaining loan options and assisting with loan processing or collections when applicable
- Handle customer inquiries or concerns professionally, aiming to resolve issues promptly and enhance customer satisfaction
Qualifications
- Previous retail sales experience is preferred; familiarity with retail store operations is a plus
- Basic math skills necessary for cash handling, retail math calculations, and financial transactions
- Experience with banking or financial services can be advantageous but is not required
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and effectively
- Ability to operate data entry systems efficiently, including 10 key typing for quick transaction processing
- Knowledge of retail lending processes or loan collections is beneficial but not mandatory
- Demonstrated ability to handle cash drawer operations accurately and perform cash management tasks confidently
