Stress Care of New Jersey is a licensed Behavioral Health and Addiction Treatment Center accredited by The Joint Commission. We provide a full continuum of outpatient services, including psychiatric evaluations, medication management, therapy, group therapy, intensive outpatient programs, and partial care across multiple New Jersey locations.
We are seeking a Human Resources Generalist with 1–3 years of HR experience to support day-to-day HR operations, with a strong focus on recruiting, onboarding, employee relations, and HR administration in a healthcare environment.
This role requires strong attention to detail, professionalism, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting.

Manage full-cycle recruiting for open positions, including sourcing, screening, scheduling, and conducting initial interviews

Coordinate and facilitate onboarding, orientation, and new hire documentation

Maintain accurate and confidential employee records and HR files

Support employee relations by addressing basic concerns and escalating issues when appropriate

Ensure compliance with internal policies, employment laws, and healthcare regulatory requirements (State of NJ, Joint Commission, etc.)

Assist with HR administrative tasks such as personnel updates, benefits coordination, and reporting

Support HR initiatives across multiple locations as needed

Maintain professionalism and confidentiality in all employee and organizational matters

1–3 years of experience in Human Resources (required)

Experience in recruiting and onboarding (required)

Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or related field

Experience in a healthcare or behavioral health setting preferred, but not required
