Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages with precision and flair, ensuring consistency and quality.
- Engage with guests in a friendly, professional manner, providing excellent customer service that encourages repeat visits.
- Manage POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for accurate order entry, billing, and cash handling.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area in compliance with food safety standards and health regulations.
- Monitor guest behavior to promote a safe environment, especially during busy nightclub or banquet events.
- Restock bar supplies efficiently while managing time effectively during high-volume periods.
- Handle cash transactions accurately, balancing registers at shift end, and adhering to cash handling procedures.
Skills
- Proven experience with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS; familiarity with cashiering processes.
- Strong knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling procedures.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage diverse guests in various settings including fine dining, nightclubs, or catering events.
- Effective time management skills to prioritize tasks during busy shifts while maintaining quality service.
- Basic math skills for accurate cash handling, sales calculations, and retail math applications.
- Experience working in the food industry, particularly within hospitality environments like restaurants or banquet halls.
