Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Teacher specializing in 2-year-olds and 3-year-olds to join our vibrant early childhood education team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to shape young minds during their formative years, fostering a love for learning through engaging, developmentally appropriate activities. Duties
- Develop and implement age-appropriate curricula that promote early literacy, numeracy, social skills, and physical development in line with educational standards such as Montessori and other early childhood frameworks
- Create a stimulating classroom environment that encourages exploration, creativity, and independence among toddlers and preschoolers
- Plan and execute engaging lesson plans that incorporate hands-on activities, sensory play, storytelling, and movement to support holistic development
- Manage classroom behavior effectively through positive reinforcement strategies and individualized behavior management techniques
- Foster strong communication with children to support language development and social interactions
- Collaborate with colleagues to design inclusive lesson plans that address diverse learning needs, including special education considerations and early intervention strategies
- Maintain detailed records of student progress, conduct assessments aligned with standardized testing where applicable, and communicate developmental milestones to parents or guardians
- Ensure the safety and welfare of all children by adhering to childcare regulations, maintaining cleanliness, supervising activities closely, and implementing health protocols
Qualifications
- Proven experience working with children aged 2 to 4 years in a classroom or daycare setting
- Strong knowledge of childhood development principles, early intervention strategies, and behavior management techniques
- Experience with curriculum development tailored for preschool age groups including literacy education, math fundamentals, physical education, and Montessori methods
- Familiarity with classroom management tools and techniques to create an organized learning environment
- Excellent communication skills for engaging with children, parents, colleagues, and community partners
- Ability to plan lessons effectively while adapting to individual student needs
- Certification or training in early childhood education or related fields is preferred; relevant certifications in special education or toddler care are advantageous
- Knowledge of standardized testing procedures applicable to early childhood education is a plus

Pay: $15.00 - $17.50 per hour
