Duties
- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their dining experience
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, and OpenTable
- Process sales transactions efficiently while handling cash and credit payments with precision
- Serve food and beverages promptly, including cocktails, spirits, wine, and non-alcoholic drinks
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales opportunities
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in food handling, beverage service areas, and dining spaces
- Assist with bussing tables, resetting for new guests, and supporting kitchen staff when needed
Skills
- Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and sanitation practices in the food industry
- Proven ability to deliver excellent customer service with guest relations skills
- Culinary experience combined with beverage knowledge including spirits, wine, cocktails, and drink service
- Effective time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to upsell menu items confidently to maximize sales while ensuring guest satisfaction
- Previous fine dining or hospitality experience preferred; strong food handling skills required
- Basic math skills for processing transactions accurately and managing cash handling responsibilities
