Responsibilities
- Play skillfully during Sunday worship services, midweek services, rehearsals, and special services.
- Attend all required services, rehearsals, practices, and monthly special services.
- Learn songs, arrangements, keys, transitions, and worship flow as assigned.
- Follow instructions from the music director, group leader, immediate leader, pastor, or assigned ministry authority.
- Work respectfully with singers, choir members, musicians, sound team, and church leadership.
- Arrive on time and be fully prepared for each service and rehearsal.
- Maintain a spirit of unity, discipline, professionalism, and respect.
- Support the worship atmosphere and overall mission of the ministry.
- Communicate in advance if an emergency prevents attendance.
Requirements
- Must be born again.
- Must have gone through Beginners Class.
- Must be committed to attending all services for the agreed monthly pay.
- Must be available for Sunday service, Saturday rehearsal, Thursday midweek service, and monthly special services.
- Must follow all instructions given by immediate leaders, group leaders, music directors, pastors, or assigned ministry authorities.
- Must be punctual, respectful, teachable, and dependable.
- Must be musically skilled and able to play in a church worship setting.
- Must be able to work well with a team.
- Must maintain good conduct and a respectful attitude at all times.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience playing in a church, worship team, choir, or gospel music setting.
- Ability to follow worship flow and play with sensitivity.
- Ability to learn songs quickly.
- Strong understanding of gospel, praise, and worship music.
- Ability to play by ear is a plus.
Pay: $1,000.00 - $1,500.00 per month
