Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to lead ABA-based behavioral intervention programs within our EIDBI service line. In this role, you will conduct comprehensive assessments, develop individualized treatment plans, and provide clinical supervision that ensures fidelity to Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) methodology across our caseload. You will work closely with our Qualified Supervising Professional (QSP) team, Level I/II/III providers, and families to drive measurable, person-centered outcomes.
This role is central to Spectrum Roots' DHS EIDBI compliance structure: as our advanced-certification provider for the ABA treatment modality, you will oversee ABA-specific fidelity and, where applicable, BACB-required supervision hours for RBT-credentialed staff.
Responsibilities
- Conduct functional behavior assessments (FBA) and diagnostic evaluations to identify behavioral challenges and strengths
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans (ITPs) based on ABA principles, in line with DHS-7109 requirements
- Collect, analyze, and interpret data to measure client progress and adjust interventions accordingly
- Provide clinical supervision and training to Level I/II/III providers and RBTs to ensure fidelity of ABA treatment delivery
- Serve as (or co-serve as) Qualified Supervising Professional (QSP) and/or the agency's advanced-certification provider for the ABA modality, per DHS EIDBI standards
- Meet or exceed EIDBI's 1 hour of clinical supervision per 16 hours of direct treatment requirement, and BACB supervision standards for RBT-credentialed staff
- Perform client assessments, including medical documentation review, while maintaining full HIPAA compliance
- Collaborate with families, schools, and healthcare professionals to support client goals across home, school, and community settings
- Lead intake sessions for new clients, including comprehensive behavioral evaluations and treatment priority-setting
- Maintain accurate, timely documentation of all clinical activities, progress notes, and treatment updates
- Support billing accuracy and documentation alignment for EIDBI codes (97153, 97154, 97155, 97156, H0032, H0046, T1024)
Qualifications
- Active BCBA certification through the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB), in good standing
- Active or eligible Minnesota Licensed Behavior Analyst (LBA) licensure through the MN Board of Behavior Analysis
- Meets Minnesota DHS EIDBI QSP requirements, or willing to pursue QSP designation
- Proven experience working with children with autism spectrum disorder or related developmental disabilities in clinical or home-based settings
- Strong background in ABA data collection methods and functional assessment (FBA, functional analysis)
- Experience providing clinical supervision to behavior technicians, including RBT supervision hours
- Familiarity with Minnesota Medical Assistance/MHCP billing structure and MN-ITS is a plus
- Clear DHS background study clearance required prior to start
- Excellent written documentation skills and comfort working within a multidisciplinary care team
Pay: $75.00 - $80.00 per hour
