Job Summary
Overview:
We are seeking a reliable and hardworking welder helper to assist in welding, fabrication, and installation of custom gates, fencing, and metal structures. You’ll support the lead welder both in-shop and on-site. This is a physically demanding position with opportunity to grow.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with material handling and cutting
- Prep and grind metal surfaces
- Help with MIG welding and tack welding
- Load/unload tools and equipment
- Maintain clean and organized work area
- Support field installation work when needed
- other assigned duties
Requirements:
- Must have reliable transportation
- Physically capable of lifting 75+ lbs and working in the Arizona heat
- Basic tool knowledge (grinders, chop saw, drills)
- Willingness to learn and follow instructions
- OSHA 10 preferred, not required
Pay: Starting at $17-20/hr depending on experience
Schedule:
- Full-time
- Monday to Friday, occasional weekends
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
Work Location: In person
