Position Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Dump Truck and Side Dump Drivers with a Minnesota Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) to join our team. The ideal candidate has at least 5 years of experience, an accident-free record, and the ability to navigate to job sites located on highways or in remote areas using GPS tools and coordinates.
Responsibilities:
- Operate and drive dump trucks to transport materials to and from job sites
- Safely load, haul, and unload materials as directed
- Utilize GPS navigation systems and coordinates to locate job sites
- Perform minor equipment maintenance (e.g., check oil, fluid levels, air tanks)
- Maintain accurate logs and documentation as required
- Follow all company safety policies, DOT regulations, and site-specific rules
- Communicate effectively with supervisors, site personnel, and co-workers
- Display professionalism and calm under pressure
- Complete tasks efficiently and on schedule
- Work overtime, nights, and weekends as needed
Minimum Qualifications:
- Valid Minnesota Class A CDL
- 5+ years of dump truck driving experience
- Accident-free driving record
- Strong ability to follow instructions and work independently
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Reliable, punctual, and professional at all times
- Mechanical aptitude for basic maintenance tasks
- Comfortable working in various weather conditions and remote locations
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in highway and heavy-civil construction within Minnesota
