We are looking for compassionate, dependable, and caring Personal Care Assistants (PCAs) / Caregivers to join our growing team.
What You'll Do
As a Personal Care Assistant, you will provide personalized, non-medical support based on each client's individual care plan. Responsibilities may include:
- Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and personal hygiene
- Provide safe mobility, ambulation, and transfer assistance
- Assist clients with meal preparation, serving meals, and maintaining proper nutrition and hydration
- Provide medication reminders according to the client's care plan and applicable regulations
- Provide companionship and meaningful interaction
- Assist with activities, hobbies, walks, games, conversation, and community engagement
- Provide dementia and Alzheimer's support when applicable
- Perform light housekeeping and laundry to maintain a safe and comfortable environment
- Assist with errands, shopping, and other approved client needs
- Provide transportation or accompany clients to appointments and activities when assigned and authorized
- Observe and report changes in a client's condition, behavior, or overall well-being to the appropriate supervisor
- Maintain accurate and timely care documentation
- Protect client privacy and maintain confidentiality at all times
- Communicate professionally with clients, families, caregivers, and supervisors
- Follow all High Country Care policies, procedures, safety standards, and individual care plans

- Comfortable assisting with personal care and mobility
- Able to follow a care plan and company policies
- Reliable and able to work independently in a client's home
- Comfortable working with older adults and individuals with disabilities
- Willing to learn and participate in required training
Preferred Experience
Experience is a plus, but we are willing to train the right person.
We especially value experience with:
- Senior care
- Assisted living
- Nursing homes
- Personal care
- Dementia or Alzheimer's care
- Individuals with disabilities
- Developmental or neurodevelopmental disabilities
- Hospice or end-of-life support
- Home care
CNA certification, CPR/First Aid certification, or other relevant caregiving training is a plus.
