About MDNI Group
MDNI Group is a premier, vertically integrated real estate development and investment firm based in Los Angeles, California. We specialize in high-yield multifamily developments, affordable housing, and cutting-edge modular construction solutions.
Our Distinct Edge: Unlike traditional developers who rely entirely on volatile third-party builders, MDNI Group utilizes an in-house construction and land development ecosystem. By controlling the entire asset lifecycle, we significantly mitigate supply chain risks and build more cost-effectively than our competitors. Boasting a proven track record across Greater Los Angeles (including active and completed projects), we leverage strategic U.S. financing programs to secure favorable terms, lower the capital burden on our partners, and optimize investor returns.
Position Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated and well-connected Capital Placement Agent / Investor Relations Specialist to introduce accredited investors, High-Net-Worth Individuals (HNWIs), family offices, and private equity partners to MDNI Group's active development pipeline.
This role is designed for autonomous professionals who want the security of a baseline structure paired with the massive upside of private equity real estate placements. We offer a flexible compensation structure (including options for structured draw-against-commission) tailored to your existing practice and capital raising volume.
Regulatory Compliance Note: To maintain strict adherence to SEC Regulation D (Ex: Rule 506(c)) and FINRA standards regarding transaction-based success fees, all applicants must possess appropriate securities licensing or be formally affiliated with a registered Broker-Dealer or Capital Acquisition Broker (CAB) through which performance compensation can legally route.
Key Responsibilities
- Capital Sourcing & Outreach: Proactively leverage your existing database and build new acquisition channels to locate accredited investors seeking asset-backed returns in Southern California real estate.
- Deal Presentation: Educate prospects on MDNI Group's unique investment thesis, highlighting our vertically integrated construction model, modular velocity advantages, and risk-mitigation strategies.
- The "Warm Handoff": Qualify prospective investor interest and seamlessly introduce them to MDNI Group’s Managing Partners, who will execute technical due diligence and finalize capital deployment.
- Relationship Management: Act as a high-integrity bridge between your investor network and our executive team, maintaining smooth communication throughout the fundraising lifecycle.
Required Qualifications
- Licensing & Compliance (Mandatory): Active FINRA registration (e.g., Series 7, 82, 22, or 63) OR a current, formal affiliation with a registered Broker-Dealer/CAB capable of legally routing transaction-based performance fees. (Unregistered finders seeking direct cash splits cannot be considered due to SEC parameters).
- Investor Network: A verifiable, active network of accredited investors, wealth managers, or family offices with a demonstrated appetite for private placements.
- Self-Discipline: Exceptional professional drive and the ability to operate entirely remotely and autonomously.
Preferred Qualifications
- Real Estate Placement Expertise: 3+ years of direct experience raising equity specifically for multifamily syndications, ground-up developments, LIHTCs, and/or opportunity zone funds.
- Advanced Market Literacy: A strong command of real estate financial concepts, including capital stacks, IRR, equity multiples, preferred equity, and cap rates.
- Regulation D Familiarity: Deep working knowledge of Rule 506(c) offerings, including the specific third-party verification protocols required to confirm "accredited investor" status.
- Cross-Border Networks: Existing relationships with international investors or Registered Investment Advisors (RIAs) seeking strategic, U.S. dollar-denominated real estate assets.
What We Offer
- Flexible Compensation Models: A reliable monthly baseline structure to support pipeline building
- Institutional-Grade Asset Pipeline: Marketable, supply-resistant real estate products in a high-demand market (Los Angeles), driven by highly efficient modular building techniques.
- Full Executive Close Support: You focus entirely on the relationship and introduction. MDNI Group’s Managing Partners provide all private placement memorandums (PPMs), handle the deep technical pitches, execute legal documentation, and close the transactions.
- Total Autonomy: Complete schedule flexibility. This role functions perfectly as a complementary asset class for active independent placement agents or consultants.
